Terms of Service

Who we are and how to contact us.

SafeSell ("we", "us", "our") is provided by:

To contact us about these terms, email hello@safesell.co.uk.

1. About these terms.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you ("you", "your") and SafeSell. They govern your use of the SafeSell website and service. By using SafeSell — including using the free tier, or creating a subscription through our checkout — you agree to these Terms. Please read them before you use the service. If you do not agree, please do not use SafeSell.

2. What SafeSell is (and is not).

SafeSell is a self-service tool that helps individual and micro marketplace sellers organise their product-safety information and generate GPSR document templates, including:

SafeSell takes the information you provide and organises it into document-shaped templates to help you keep your compliance paperwork in order.

Important — please read: SafeSell:

You, as the seller, remain the economic operator legally responsible for your products and for meeting all applicable legal requirements in every market you sell into. You should verify that the templates meet current regulatory requirements at the time you rely on them, and seek professional advice where needed. Regulatory requirements can change.

2A. Eligibility — UK-established businesses only.

SafeSell is currently available to UK-established businesses and sole traders only. To create an account (including the free tier) or a paid subscription, your business or sole-trader must be established in the United Kingdom. In our sign-up flow you will be asked to confirm this, and Paid plans may only be purchased and used by businesses and sole traders established in the United Kingdom. Access to the checkout does not change this eligibility requirement.

At launch we do not offer accounts to customers whose business is established in the EU or EEA, and non-UK-established businesses are not able to create a profile, generate documents or take a paid subscription with us. This is a deliberate, current limitation of the service, which we may change in the future. SafeSell is a tool for UK-established sellers preparing GPSR paperwork for selling into the EU; as a UK seller you remain the UK economic operator responsible for your products, and you are responsible for appointing any EU-established economic operator your products require.

3. Your account and the free tier.

You can use the free tier (1 product) without creating a paid account. Your business and product information is stored in your own browser, so it is your responsibility to keep copies and to keep your browser and device secure. Because this data is stored locally, it can be lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices; we cannot recover it for you.

4. Paid plans.

We offer the following paid plans, all in pounds sterling (GBP):

PlanPriceIncludes
Starter£12/month or £110/yearUp to 10 products (SKUs), all four document templates with unlimited regeneration, a listing-copy block, revision history
Pro£25/month or £250/yearUp to 50 products (SKUs), batch import (CSV), annual-review reminders, priority support

All prices shown are final amounts that include any applicable taxes (such as UK VAT), which we collect and remit where required. We may change prices in the future; if we do, affected subscribers will be told in advance.

5. Billing, payment and renewal.

Payments are handled through Stripe-hosted checkout using Onelink Managed Payments. Stripe and Onelink process payment information under their respective terms and privacy policies. SafeSell does not receive or store your full card details. Unless you cancel, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month (monthly plans) or year (annual plans) until you cancel. Your payment method will be charged through our payment service provider on renewal. A receipt/confirmation is issued when payment is taken — please keep it as your record (payment confirmations are not sent separately by us).

6. How to cancel.

You can cancel at any time:

Cancellation stops the renewal at the end of your current billing period. You will not get a refund for the period you have already paid for, other than under the Cancellation & Refund Policy (see section 8).

7. Your data.

The business and product information you enter is stored in your browser and is yours. Your server-side subscription record (email, Stripe customer ID, plan, cadence and status) is processed as described in our Privacy Policy. On cancellation we stop charging you; how long we keep the record is set out in the Privacy Policy.

8. Cancellations and refunds.

Your right to cancel and receive a refund is set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it before subscribing.

9. Acceptable use.

You agree not to use SafeSell to:

10. Intellectual property.

Your business and product information is yours. SafeSell's software, templates, website content and brand are owned by (or licensed to) SafeSell. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business. The document templates we generate for your products are for your own use.

11. Disclaimers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any document generated will be accepted by any marketplace, authority or regulator. As described in section 2, SafeSell is a templating and organising tool and does not give legal advice, supply an EU Responsible Person, or guarantee compliance.

12. Our liability to you.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including:

Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you under or in connection with these Terms is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

13. Consumers and applicable law.

SafeSell currently only offers accounts to UK-established businesses and sole traders, and does not offer accounts to EU/EEA-established customers at launch (see section 2A). Where you have consumer rights under the law of your home country, including mandatory provisions that cannot be varied by these Terms, those protections apply to you alongside these Terms.

14. Changes to the service or these Terms.

We may update SafeSell, change features and plan limits, and revise these Terms from time to time. We will update this page and note the date. If a change materially affects you, we will take reasonable steps to tell you. If you are a paying subscriber and do not accept a material change, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

15. Governing law.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute. Because SafeSell currently only offers accounts to UK-established businesses and sole traders, any account or subscription you take is entered into from the UK. Your own consumer-protection rights under the law of the country where you live continue to apply where they cannot be varied by these Terms.
